Acne treatment: benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid?
I wonder what works best and stay Effective more time. I Proactiv for about a year, and started to stop working, so I'm on top of that my skin has become immune to treatment with peroxide benzoyl. I reckon I will go either to that salicylic acid-If it lasts longer, or if all else fails, I'll question a dermatologist. All information, recommendations, websites, etc. are all welcome:) Thanks.
Benzoyl peroxide is what was used before the salicylic acid. The acid is better and works more efficiently. May be irritating to the skin of some people, but. Also used in a higher concentration of skin peels. This system is supposed to give soft skin below which has fewer wrinkles. If all else fails, you can get the dermis to give you a prescription.
